Vela - Bugs?

I have trying to build a new version of an application using the Vela theme. I am not sure it is usable for me.

Consider the following images.

The first in the IDE. The next is the application loaded. Note the size of the text boxes which is what the user sees. The last is after the needed data is being entered. None of the three are the same.

This makes it hard to design a layout, then the layout does not match the design and after interaction with the user it looks different again.

This make me think that Vela is not ready for use and still has something needing to be worked out.

If there is a way to resolve these changes and get consistency I would appreciate the instructions.

Thanks for the report, the problem is that the Vela theme has paddings that can hardly be configured in the C++ IDE designer.

When you create a new project, the fields are automatically created at 40 px high because that is the height at which the theme was designed.
When converting an existing project, you must change all the Forms fields to 40 field height, otherwise the display will not be correct.

Thanks for that information! I will revisit Vela and see if I can get it to work in a way I like.
