Drawing Objects - Lines

I like to able to visual separate area of my forms. A simple line will often serve my needs just fine. It would be nice to add visual items like lines and being able to set the line, weight style (e.g solid, dashed, dotted) and line color in the properties window for the object.

I agree but I want to tell you my technique: I create a static panel field with a custom border, only the up one, and I set it the way I want.

I do the same in reports, too.
