More Graph Issues - data sort differences Form and Report.

Here is an image of a chart on the form.

Here is an image of the same data in a report.

The data on the report has Group Two first and is not like the form which has Group One first. They run agains the same data. Is there was way to insure Group One is at the top of the chart in the report version?

I would run it through the debugger and see what sql is being generated for each--could be there is a differnet (or missing) order clause happening for some reason.

The data is in IMDB files, I have not found a way to add an Order By statement to their query format. If someone knows how it is done, please let me know.

Same as a normal db. Right-click on a field in the select you want to order by, and select Order By. Of course it has to have more than one row defined in the IMDB table for the Order By to show.

I just tried the Order By and that does not resolve the issue. Same output data is reversed.

I think that the data are passed to the library in the same order, but a library renders them bottom-up and the other top-down.

They are different libraries so they work differently.
Maybe the best solution could be let the system use oxyplot also in the web preview, but in that case the graph would be an image without tooltips and visual effects.

It would seem a reasonable request that Instant Developer use a graph engine that gives the same output results on the form and report.

I am not the only one who struggles with this problem. It is also a topic in the Italian side of the forums. Graphs/Charting seems more important to users and customers than it was before. Right now graphing seems like it is an after-thought, not so important.
