upload behavior ?

When I upload a file it also creates an automatic download. I do not want this behavior. I dealt with this is in the past but cannot find how I resolved it. I just want the file to upload and not the auto downland.

I am hoping there there is a quick answer and solution for the issue.

Yesterday I resolved by using EnterUploadMode in a ChangeRow event. That seems to stop the download part.

What happens is I upload the file, I process the file, and when it is done processing the file reasons I do not know It download a file to the desktop. I have not created any code for that to happen. I ran into this in the past but for the life of cannot remember a solution I used back then. I know I created a forum thread back then, but the download part is not in it.

For the moment, it is working as I want, but I wish I had a solution that I understood why this works. So frustrating to not understand something.

Be glad, it is frustrating. It is like it is in an upload->download process. The ChangingRow event seems to interrupt the process.

Maybe is sufficient to set the MaxAutoShowSize to 0 with Field.SetBlobSize() .

If there is the auto-show/preview and the file is not an image the browser will try to download it.
